I feel as if my life and my business are moving into a new space.  The Universe seems to have decreed it and who am I to argue with the Universe!?

This is going to be a long explanation of what’s been happening in my world, so you might want to grab a cuppa.

One thing that speaking with so many wise animals has taught me is that God, the Universe, the Goddess, the Old Gods, the Universal Energy or whatever you prefer to call it has a plan for us.  That plan is to teach us great lessons so that we can become our best selves.  We’ve all had pets in our lives who have been their best selves and they are often with us to help us on our journey to become the same.

So I’ve been happily speaking with lots of animals over the years and thinking that is all there is to what I need to do to be my best self.  That and of course trying to be a conduit for love in all things I do in life.  Not an easy task but one I try to keep to whenever I can.  It seems this was only part of the plan for me.

Due to the work I do I have learned so many things, mostly from the animals but also from the many amazing animal guardians I’ve met.

Many people have been sent to me to help me grow and gain knowledge and understanding. I’m sure you can think of people in your life who have changed it for the better.

A few months ago a lovely friend of mine, Mary-Sue, broached the subject of writing children’s picture books with stories from animals I’ve spoken with.  Another lovely friend, Deana, pointed out that although the stories were for children these books could really help parents of  kids who hear animals to know that it’s OK. Naturally I loved this idea, so I’ve written the draft of the first book.  One of a series I hope.  Check out the Books menu for more information and a sneak peek!

Every friend I have is equally lovely, I’m so lucky, and a few weeks later another of them, Susi, sent me a link to a challenge being run by Hay House Publishing, which would teach me a lot about writing books.  When I completed that I realised there is another book I want to write, and it’s not a children’s book.  The current title is Lessons from Animals in Spirit and it’s aim is to tell all of you the things I’ve been taught by animals about passing over and what it’s like on the other side.  Also what they’ve taught me about lessons, grief, regret, joy, laughter and more. My hope is that if you are grieving for a loved one this book will help you.

Next the Hay House newsletter had a link to another challenge, this one about writing a course.  I couldn’t think of any kind of online course I could build and run but I was still attracted to this challenge for some reason.  Although I already teach Animal Communication and have a 2 hour workshop to help you to speak with the animals in your care.  Also a 6 month mentorship program to teach all aspects of the work of an Animal Communicator.  If either of these interest you check out my Workshops & Courses page.  By the end of the challenge I knew what course I would love to offer.  It would be How to Build a Better Relationship with your Dog.  Long title, I know.  Any suggestions for shorter versions of it very welcome!!  My friend Deb suggested “Be more Dog”.

So now I was faced with a dilemma.  My old and rather broken down website wasn’t going to be able to cope with what I wanted to do so, first on the list, get a new website and here it is!  I have to thank a wonderful designer and programmer named Waqas Muhammed for this beauty! Since I started this journey, first the children’s book, then the grown ups book, then the course and now the website, everything in my life has been flowing forward in the most amazing way.  It’s been like I had a rocket put up my jacksie!  This has convinced me that I have the approval of my guides and helpers and everyone here and on the other side who supports me so lovingly.
