I’ve had an eventful few months with most of the difficulties being in the form of technology not working like it should.

A laptop computer with I Speak With Animals and photos on the screen

It’s very easy at times like this to be very focussed on what is going wrong and forget to see what is going right.

As some of you know I got a new laptop and it’s original setup was very flawed, so after spending several days getting everything moved over to it and finding that nothing worked, including my emails – EEK – I had to reset the laptop to it’s factory settings and start all over again.

I finally got back online and had a great thing happen. My latest children’s book,Cover of Bessie the Busy Bumble Bee children's book

Bessie the Busy Bumble Bee

was published on amazon. This made me SO happy! If you’d like a signed copy let me know 🙂

This was followed by a hacker destroying my facebook account and running malicious ads from my business page to the tune of £575 (approximately $700 US). I am still being told by facebook that they will be closing my business account soon because these ads were so nasty lots of people complained about them. I have send multiple emails to many facebook email addresses, written to the US Attorney General and written a physical letter to the meta (facebook) offices in Dublin. Facebook don’t care and won’t respond.

But it’s amazing the good that has come out of this! The biggest thing being that people still managed to find me even though I had no personal facebook account for some time. I was so worried that someone would need me and not be able to get hold of me.

I tend to think people won’t remember my business name, but it seems I was very wrong! I had a barrage of people filling in the contact form on my website saying they couldn’t find me on facebook and needed a reading.

Meanwhile, the beautiful animals I speak with bring sanity and love into my life constantly. They remind me of what is important, what matters in our lives and theirs.

I believe that if an animal is supposed to get a reading with meBartholomule it will happen and nothing can stop it. My recent experiences have proved that to me once again.

This is Bartholomule.  He’s had a very tough life but is now safe with his wonderful new mummy, Tammi.  With lots of love and good food, and plenty of readings to help him achieve the life he wants Bart has a very bright future.

We live in an incredible, beautiful world filled with people who have good, kind hearts. The media put in front of us all the bad in the world and it’s easy to become so used to seeing bad that we overlook good. I constantly remind myself to be grateful. For small things as well as big things. I’m grateful to have a home with hot water and heating, to have a washing machine…. hand washing is SO time consuming. To have the most wonderful man in the world in my life and our beautiful, mischevious, funny Bernese Mountain Dog, Teddy. For those of you who often ask after him, Teddy is doing really well now. He’s being helped by a wonderful holistic vet and the changes we’ve seen in him have made us all very, very happy.Teddy, the Bernese Mountain Dog, running through a snowy field

I am now encouraging everyone to make sure I have their email address and that they have mine, because if facebook close my business account I will, more than likely, leave. They don’t deserve users when they clearly don’t care about us. Try googling “hackers run malicious ads on facebook business accounts”. It happens a lot!

So, if you are going through one of those periods in life when things seem to be going against you or making you feel low, I encourage you to take a leaf out the book that your animals live by. To remember to be joyful when you see something beautiful, like a sunset or a tree in it’s autumn colours, to remember to play, to remember that the most important thing in life is the love you give out to others and the love they give back to you.

And on that note I am sending much love to you.
